Mad City Invitational, Presented by Dairyland Sports is Wisconsin’s premier youth wheelchair basketball tournament, sanctioned by the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWB), bringing together Junior Varsity and Prep wheelchair basketball teams from across the Midwest for a weekend of competitive basketball, connection, and fun.
Held annually in Greater Madison, Wisconsin, the Mad City Invitational serves as the home tournament for the Mad City Badgers, a Madison-based NWBA youth wheelchair basketball team supported by Dairyland Sports. The tournament brings athletes, coaches, families, volunteers, and supporters together to celebrate the talent and potential of athletes with disabilities.
At Dairyland Sports, we believe sports are about more than competition. They are a pathway to confidence, independence, belonging, and opportunity. The Mad City Invitational, Presented by Dairyland Sports, reflects that mission by creating an environment where young athletes can compete, challenge themselves, and experience the camaraderie that comes with being part of a team.
Whether you’re an athlete, coach, family member, volunteer, or fan, we invite you to join us in celebrating adaptive sports and supporting the next generation of wheelchair basketball athletes.
Come watch. Come cheer. Come be part of the Mad City Invitational, Presented by Dairyland Sports!
